With the crystal clear intentions of going down for Brunch, i awoke at about 12.30pm to the sunny Sunday yesterday, and headed down in my Whitley Rugby top, pajama pants and bed socks which just so happened to be yellow and green, knitted, with a Teddy's face sewn onto it. And flip flops.
Getting all done with brunch, i was just about to head back up and shower when Jen came in asking for volunteers to go to uni and do some stuff. It was open day on Sunday. Being the good, always willing to procrastinate samaritan that i was, i leapt at the idea of doing something on a Sunday morning.
Me: I'll just go shower and get changed
Jen: No time, TV
Me: Lemme change outta my jim jams at least
Jen: No time, TV. the van is leaving now.
(Trixie walks in)
Trixie: I'll go with TV
Me: Yea, I'll go get changed, im in my jim jams!
(Trix and Jen throw dirty looks)
Trixie: Ah, you'll be alright
Jen: Yea, no one will notice
So i get in the van and head off to uni. just so happens my luck, that Trixie and i were actually changing shifts with Shane and Steve. So i get out of the van and...
Shane: You have got pumpkin soup on your pajamas (it's an inside joke)
Steve: TV!
(Both laugh like mad)
So there i was, getting people to come see Whitley, in my jim jams. People gave me the " what was she thinking" look from miles away. NOt so much embarassed as I felt bad for Whitley though.
Ironically, we had just had the closing night of our musical, The Pajama Game the night before.
Suddenly, this bunch of people approached us wanting to get to Whitley and Ih, they had just missed the bus. So i volunteered to walk them over. In my jim jams. well, i HAD to get changed, right.
So there i was, walking 5 people down Royal Parade, in my pajama pants, bed socks, proudly displaying the Whitley rugby top. I could tell the chicks at Trinity gave me looks when i walked past.
