SO, guess what? i just had my first day volunteering at the Oxfam Shop. It was AMAZING!
I love the girl who works there, Alli. we had soo much to talk about. i guess we ae quite similar.

anyway. she told me abt this thing: Oxfam Unwrapped

check it out. what it is it's basically a program if you will, where you spend anywhere between $10 and $6500 buying a gift. The gift consists of things like seeds, clean water, mosquito nets, food for children and stuff.
When you buy those gifts, the money will be donated to one out of 4 causes in Oxfam: agriculture, health, education, livelihood and emergency.

For example, if i buy a chicken for $10, the money goes towards livelihood.

and when you buy a gift, you will get a card, and in the card,, you can write a msg and give it to someone.

like say, i get the chicken for my mom, i will get a cute card that explains what the gift is and how it helps people. it's a winner i think. just check it out guys. it's really cool. and very helpful if u r stuck for ideas!
